A clear, soaring feather.
This is a theme I developed one rainy afternoon. I love open source
programs, like Songbird, and I love the freedom it enables. This
theme, to me, was intended to replicate the same feeling of
empowerment.

Kulshreshtha.

I like it! Thank you! On my widescreen monitor (1680 by 1050), the background cloud image tiles a second time. It actually doesn't look too shabby tiled, but I thought I'd mention it.
Yes, I know... It's a photograph, though, and that was the maximum size. I didn't want to distort it... and I figured that most people don't have high res monitors like us ;)
I would consider making a second version for widescreen monitors. I really like this skin, and the tiling isn't a huge deal, but it would be much nicer without it. It's not terribly hard in photoshop to chop in a section of the picture and make ends meet. Or an easier thing would be to just mirror the image horizontally and crop it to size. Above all, great feather man, it's a keeper.
I like it. It is nice to see color in the GUI. It would be interesting to see other color feathers whether taken from pics or photoshop.
I like this feather a lot. Except, there is very little to no contrast in the menus or other text areas. I tried on three different profiles. Win XP. This makes it tough for a newbie to find a way around. I switch to it when I'm done tweaking things. Thanks.
Songbird 0.4 states this add-on is not compatible. Installation failed.
winXP>sb clean install, clean profile, please repair. Thanks for the great feather.
until windsurfer gets around to updating it i figured a way to get it to work
using FF download the feather and using 7zip change it from .xpi to .zip and extract
then go into the install.RDF and change this
0.3pre
0.3*
to this
0.3pre
0.6pre
then save that, zip the chrome, chrome.manifest and install.rdfback up and install you Albatross feather
I really love this feather, and I would love to see it updated for .5 or .6, when it becomes available. And maybe for a wide screen monitor as well?
