That's a really cool idea. Not something I'd use, but I love it's originality :)

I originally thought the idea of a hand drawn feather would be really cool. With some help from the developers (specifically stevel), I was able to achieve my goal.
You will have to install a special font to use this feather, but
it’s quite painless.

Just extract the zip file above and drag it into your fonts folder
(control panel) if you’re using windows. I have no idea what
you should do on other platforms, though.

I tested the font a little, and it might benefit from a slight revision. Handwriting fonts are always difficult because they it is quite difficult to make them legible enough for long haul usage. As an example, the lowercase L blends into the "o". Overall I agree it is very creative. The bonus is the font can be used to Faux-Scribble onto other word processing documents! (Think of the Christmas Thank-You possibilities!)
I really like this feather, and i can see myself using it for a while. Great idea for a theme, and nice presentation. Good job!
really really nice :)
Songbird 0.4 states this add-on is not compatible. Installation failed.

Hi, thanks for Sketchy, I like it a lot! Font installation on linux: If you have KDE it's easy. Just open the .ttf file with kfontview and click the install button in the lower right corner. If you don't have KDE these instructions may help: 1. Install for personal use: If ~/.fonts does not exist, create it: $ mkdir ~/.fonts Copy the font, from the command line, run the following: $ cp [fontfile] ~/.fonts From the command line, run the following: $ fc-cache -f -v ~/.fonts or alternatively, log out, and log back in. 2. Installing for system wide use: Make the following directory as root: # mkdir /usr/share/fonts/truetype/myfonts Copy the font(s) into the newly created directory: # cp [fonts] /usr/share/fonts/truetype/myfonts Run the following: # fc-cache -f -v
