Amazing feather. It doesn’t seem to work properly on full screen though, still a strip at the bottom with original feather colour. Is that just a problem I’m having or what?

As much as I love the look of this feather, it seems to want to use up all of my CPU whenever I have it on? Weird. (Ubuntu 8.04)

that's odd ....
I currently don't have Ubuntu to try this on, and besides the future of rubberducky-style feathers are unsure at the moment when songbird goes "gonzo". If it's possible to maintain this feather for future songbird releases, I certainly will fix this issue I can assure you. You'll know how it went within the next couple of weeks, apologizes for delay time, although there are a lot of changes going on inside songbird-feathering at the moment.

Well, I haven't updated this feather since sb v0.6, and to be honest there's a lot of work needed to be done if it'll make 1.0 and greater. Sadly.
But fear not, thus I'm currently creating a rather light feather, and since you like this and can't use it, I will fork my new feather to look like Kakadue for you! It should be uploaded around Christmas eve or so.
And I'm sorry I havn't kept Kakadue running for today's Songbird... But that will now change! Thank you for your Comment!

This SB alternative 'appearance' is amazing, I am certain it would be far more popular if it were installable on later SB versions - for instance we're all on Songbird 1.0 version 1.9.0.3. which means that we presently can't install this or even our much loved Rubberducky (sob), etc
I know we are all busy - but Christmas has come and gone, St Val's has come and gone - can you tell us if we can expect the updated version to arrive before the Easter Bunny?

I'm sorry I haven't kept my promise :-(
But I'm still going to update this feather, trust me. It's just that there has been a lot of problems both with my computer and the programs I use when feathering.
Besides, I've created a remake of jKoshis Sakura Feather - Which gave me a lot of experience about how to convert rubberducky feathers to gonzo style ones.
Thanks for your patience, I don't promise anything but I really hope I can give you an update at Easter.
