I suppose I will throw out my suggestions to you.
(1) the sysbtns-win look too pixelated/rough.
(2) The Faceplate and Volume background should have rounder corners or something to show that they end there. Right now they look OK, but rounding them off would look nicer IMO.
(3) The text and progress bar on the faceplate should be umm…not green.
(4) The browser tabs don’t fit in.
(5) The scroll bars would look nicer if you made a custom graphic for them. (you will need to add a line to your ‘images.css’ file)
(6) The treecols should have their color changed. (it’s under the trees section in the colors.css file, I forget which one exactly, just use the dominspector)
(7) The new playlist button should also be changed to fit in for you.
(8) The selection color should be changed in the service pane.
That’s all I can think of, but you are doing a fine job so far. Try not to feel discouraged by my critique, I’m just trying to help you get better is all.

not at all any help is great
well the green was used for a short time during the WMP 11 beta testing but i was thinking maybe white there instead or even the horrific WMP purple, if not either of those what do you suggest?
the selection color is similar to the WMP text color but when i find the time i will match it up better
the backgorund is going to get redone soon, i have a draft of that but something just doesn’t look right yet…
ahh damn i don’t think i ever messed with the tabs
and a few other buttons i think too
and i was thinking of a dark midnight blue border about the faceplate, 2 px thick, but it looks a lil odd when i did that, maybe a gradient would look nice
thanks well these are for the most part minor bugs some of which were already on my list but i forgot about the tabs… stupid me lol
expect a new version within a day or 2 with corrections :)

I like the general idea, it’s only the green-wave in the background that I can’t stand!
Apart from that, nothing to complain about. But it’s messing with my head so I’ll stick the zombies for now :)

fyi the green lines are a WMP visualization that i did a screen shot of, cropped out and placed in here
i was thinking a mix of a few different visualization that WMP 11 used, how does that sound?

I would leave the visualization images out. It makes it too cluttery.

Nice...but how did you get those 2-window look in the upper part. I dont like the the "Genre" part an i dont know how i can disable the function. Thx and keep working on good skins :)

oh that's easy,it not the actual feather but a small tweak anyone can do
you normally have 3 sections, there is an add on to give you a forth, but you can just gab and hold and slide 1 or 2 out of the way if you like, you can also change it what is displayed, via a tiny button

1-is the way to change what is shown like genre,year and such, int he pic, you can see all the choices as of songbird version .6.1
2 is where you hover your mouse to resize or hide any of these windows, hover til you see a cursor that will let you move it, click and hold, while you drag it to the size you want
and expect a update and bug fix within a week or 2 of .7 being released, i also plan on doing a Gonzo Version of it, that will be a WMP clone,
