version 0.4 : Support added for Nightingale Media Player
Thanks for that.
I've installed it for testing, and here are the few glitches I got, likely linked to this addon:
- on the main window, with several tabs open, the URL bar is not refreshed when moving from one tab to the other
- in the new window, text search is not available, there are no vertical or horizontal sliders, and there is a redirection to something like addthis.com
"- on the main window, with several tabs open, the URL bar is not refreshed when moving from one tab to the other"
Ahh (sic) it's a know bug, I really should fix this on the developer tools addon (happen on all buttons created).
"in the new window, text search is not available"
I have to look on how to integrate this.
"there are no vertical or horizontal sliders"
This one should be easy
"and there is a redirection to something like addthis.com"
This is a Songbird general bug, Lukas S did post on songbird-dev about it : http://groups.google.com/group/songbird-dev/browse_thread/thread/b1887c8b18518743
Also don't expect me to copy the whole Firefox interface ;)
No, don't worry, I won't :)
Thanks for addressing this points, that I think are mandatory, even for a "simple" web window.
And what is also needed imho, and that is not here: right click menu and text selection. What do you think? I know it's getting closer to the Firefox interface, but what would be the point without them? Or maybe I missed the goal of that extension :)
whats the real difference between this & http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/1345 ? besides that is just a button
The idea is to have a separate browsing window to browse the web, it's useful for people that have double screens for example.
