SongSlope lets you rediscover your music by using last.fm listening histories.
It provides two operation modes:

• The Session View and
• The Browse View

The Session View presents to you tracks heard both before and after the currently playing song. You can hover over them to view information about the track and the listening session it was played.
Further you can double-click on the cover image to start playback, or click on the bar below, which indicates the amount of songs preceeding/following the track, to go to the Browse View.

The Browse View lets you discover and analyse a listening session by showing you all the tracks contained in it. There is some additional information about the session, too. Finally it gives you the possibility to generate a playlist of this session.

Though the animations in the video are quite laggy (due to the screen-capturing tool eating up a lot of computing power), it might give you an impression of how SongSlope works.

• last.fm extension
• last.fm account and scrobbling enabled

SongSlope was created as part of a bachelor thesis at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany, supervised by Dominikus Baur.
