Description
Cuckoo is a addon for Songbird which is a audio player based on the mozilla platform.
It's primary task is to "throw eggs out of the nest".
In the current version it has features to export:
- all visible information of your current playlist
- your current playlist as a m3u compatible file, linked to you media library or to exported mediafiles
- media files as a copy to a designated export directory, including the ability to rename the exported file, to avoid the "reorder problem"
- a nice cover with a list of songs on the tray (if you happen to have cdlabelgen installed)

Just tried 1.0.0.2, and that seems to be working well for me. Useful addon! Great for getting together files to burn onto a CD, say.
Just don't delete my desktop again ;)

Was a stupid thing: Linux applies preferences as soon as you type it. Windows after you closed the dialog. Separated preferences from export with 1.0.0.2. Hopefully won't happen again.

what would also be nice as a feature:
a plain input-field to define (eg commandline) a postrun-command or a botton .. so i could startup my toaster with that output .. i try to find something likely interoperable with freeware tools like "burn" for Mac .. c-: ... tnx

nice plugin as it let you export ALL data associated with your playlist (play count, skips, etc). It's not compatible with SongBird 1.4.3. Could you please make it working ? Thanks

Thanks for this tool...great work. You know what would make it seriously kick though - to be able to export files but define a target folder structure using the standard tags such as %artist%. So during export of each file it will read the source file's meta data and export it to the defined target folder structure. Damn that would be sweet! Would mean no more having to sync using MTP/MSC device rubbish.

Actually - I just played with another add-on called FolderSync which provides this. Oops.

Oh dear, this just deleted all the files on my desktop despite me unticking "wipe directory"
Also I can't get it to export a playlist, only a TOC file
