This add-on let you find the track, artist, album, year of the track currently playing in Songbird on Spotify.
I hope one day, Spotify will open a public Web API :)

can you make like the complete opposite of this add-on?
like that when you installed spotify on your pc you can manage it from within songbird?
or is there a reason its nowhere to be found?

I don't understand clearly what you want. We can't do much because Spotify API is restricted to premium members.We are waiting for a public Web API.

Hey could you make it so that you can search track AND artist simultaneously? I manually modified the URL combining both track and artist queries (separated by a space, so http://open.spotify.com/search/track/What's Up artist/4 Non Blondes) and it found the exact track in question in Spotify so I'm pretty sure it can be done fairly easily. I can keep doing it manually like this but I would much prefer it to be automatic. It would make life infinitely easier for me. Thanks.

I can't get it to search anything with Ubuntu 8.04 and Songbird 1.2.0.
It would be awesome if you can get full integration for premium users...
