Pure Player - BottomBar Skin brudaswen

A dark and blue bottom bar skin which can be expanded and collapsed.

Pure Player - BottomBar Skin

Description

Just another skin for the famous Pure Player (new) Addon. The skin is based on atreiu's Pure Player - TopBar Skin.

For the best look of this skin, you have the enable the following options:

  • Use round corner windows
  • Disable window shadows

Unfortunately the skin will not look that nice, if you can't enable these options.

Since Linux does not support transparency (round corners) very well, I tried to adapt to that situation. Feedback on how it works for you would be great.

Thanks go out to tatice for his fabulous songbird icon, which I used as the nocover icon.

Please give me some feedback if you have taken a look at the skin. :)

Release Notes

Songbird 1.9 compatibility.

This prompted me to try out Pure Player. Working excellent, I absolutely love it. Personally, I would love a jumpTo button in place of the change feather button. I'd like to be able to manipulate the playlist without having to switch feathers or reach for my keyboard for CTR+J.

sironitomas: I currently don't have that much time to start another project. And since I'm not familiar with mozilla development, it would take to much time to dive into the songbird api. Developing this "skin" was mainly some CSS stuff and not that much to coding. Sorry...

It's my favourite skin, thanks you for updating.
But I have some little problems:
- The open screen don't appers:
Closed screen - http://maurobit.webege.com/1.png (well)
Open screen - http://maurobit.webege.com/2.png (-_-)

Addition, the rating stars bar is a few down.

Thank you again from Chile.

Note 1: I use Linux.
Note 2: On Songbird 1.2.0, BottomBar worked perfect.

I didn't know Pure Player was still around. Maurobit, you might as well reupload pure player or something. I haven't heard from atreiu in forever. I'll think of updating black diamond too then. Also, thanks for using my "Add-On Required" badge brudaswen. It makes me feel better :)

Ok, I can reproduce this in an Ubuntu-Sandbox, but I think that the bug is related to the new Songbird version. So I can't really fix that.
I could work around the problem by putting a black pixel in the top right corner. Another problem is that the pure player has some strange behavior.

So I uploaded a Linux fork with a work-around. Maybe you can test that.

Thank you so much for updating, brudas.
The add-on works well now on Kubuntu.

How do I activate the round window borders? (Windows 7 Ultimate x86)

Goto
Songbird->Preferences->Add-ons

There search for the Pure Player (new) add-on and click Preferences.
This opens a new window, where you can activate the "round borders" mode. The checkbox is located at the bottom of the window in the "experimental options" section.

If you can't see the checkbox, you can also open a new tab in songbird (Ctrl + T) and go to the URL "about:config". There search for "extensions.pureplayer.enableRoundCorners" and set the value to "true" by double clicking the value.

BUT BE CAREFUL when playing around with about:config!!!
