Attention!
Input selection color is changed from default to orange. It loads only when Songbird starts, a feather changing doesn't enough (it's a Songbird core behavior). Unfortunately I couldn't change the selection input color of Comment and Lyrics (LyricMaster) in the Metadata Editor.
Pure Player preferences for the Pure Player skin in this feather:
- Animated images: Not Supported! (This skin doesn't contain animated images.)
- Volume bar: Supported! (You can collapse it if you want.)
- Shuffle/Repeat box: Supported! (You can collapse it if you want.)
- Round window corners: Supported! (This skin contains version with rounded corners too.)
- Windows shadow: It looks good with this skin! (Only if you turn off round window corners option.)
Works with Songbird 1.4.1 - 1.6.0a
Add-on support:
- ♪Photo (choose [Feather] in preferences of the add-on for metallic background)
- Grid View and Album View (improvement of play button of albums for the better appearance)
Yeah, that'd be the one. Other than that, I really love it. Really summery and vibrant! :-)
Interesting feather. You have some stuff that I'd like to take a look at. In particular, those hover effects. Mind if i take a look?
Mh, somehow I feel this desire for tequila sunrise....
Good work, Hiromacu!

Hi Pure Player - Skinners ;)
I just want to leave you guys a note about Pure Player:
After the last update, there are some small changes in the Pure Player Skins necessary. Please take a look at this Wiki entry, where I documented the changes I made to my skins. You might not need to repeat all these changes, but some of them for sure.
Thanks!
great color combination!!
one question: can you implement the stop button for shoutcast?
You need to tag your feathers with "feathers". The tag "feather" doesn't get it onto the list of feathers.
thank you for the extra vitamin C, Hiromacu! I'm recovering from cold, the orange slices in MediaFlow helps! ;-)
I love it!
Hi Hiromacu
Here is a new very promising addon, freshly baked. I'd love to see an orange bookmark ;)
http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/1696
Hi Hiromacu
Thanks for the last update.
I've noted 2 glitches though:
- in CDRip view, the "Rip" check-boxes do not display on the left
- and still in the CDRip view, metadata cannot be edited via option, while it works with default feathers.
@Hiromacu
Thanks for the update :)
Do you still have the "Edit metadata" hidden? It works for me, but there is a problem with one extension that delete the bar at the bottom of the view where buttons are located! If yes, try with a new profile and only the Orange, Gracenote and CD Device extension?
By the way, the check-boxes are there now in beta4, but they are still missing in their faded version during ripping process!
Thanks
@Hiromacu
Oh sorry!
The beta 4 I was talking about is actually the latest nightly on the branch.
Here: http://developer.songbirdnest.com/builds/Songbird1.4/latest/
with addons here: http://developer.songbirdnest.com/builds/Songbird1.4/latest/addons/
And thanks for the update.
By the way, More of the same did not solv the missing bar. There must be another extension as well!
@Hiromacu
I'm testing the soon-to-be-released Korn nightlies and it appears that the feathers developed up to 1.4.0 release need changes (the panel management has changed and breaks panels with "old" feathers).
I was given this indication for you by Mike, it's gobbledygook to me, I hope it won't be for you ;)
Quoting Mike:
"If you want to give your favorite feather devs a heads up, point them to here:
http://timeline.songbirdnest.com/client/changeset?new=16326@branches/Korn/feathers/purplerain/chrome/skin&old=15628@branches/Korn/feathers/purplerain/chrome/skin
(changes up till today) . They can pick and choose what exactly they want to update(but the display panes, splitters, navbar, and new/ modified images are the most important changes)"
Nice splash indeed ;) !
Beautiful splash screen work (I almost find myself hoping the start-up performance doesn't improve in near future;-)
oh my gosh, it's so blooming bright! :D Is there any chance the control buttons etc can be made rounded?
Hi Hiromacu
I know that a lot of people like the narrow grippy, but I personally find them visually unattractive (text or grippy within bars are too close to the borders and to the text above...) and difficult to grasp.
Would there be a way to select the 3 grippy bars width by a setting? Even a hidden about:config setting?
Thanks :)
Thank you, yes, that will do it :)
(and I understand your first answer, no problem!)
Thanks Hiromacu, it's ok now for those 2 grips. But (I'm never pleased, ain't I?) for the artwork panel, check here: http://prntscr.com/2xv4
I think that one or two pixels are missing about the "En séléction" text, don't you think?
But it's a detail..so, only if you agree, and in a next version with other things :)
Not "about", "above" the text, sorry!

Love the colours, very summery and bright. I wonder if the bevel/gradient at the top is a little too deep though, I think it might look better if this wasn't quite as deep. Otherwise, it's great work, and looks really nice.
