Now Chirping is a plugin that makes you able to make advanced "Now Playing" calls, to FTP servers, through HTTP requests and saving in local files

This seems very VERY nice, but my local file or ftp doesn't work, there is nothing in the file even if I've set chmod 777 to that particular txt file. I'm using openSUSE 11 with gnome2, songbird 1.1. I would like to have this working.
Yes. And tried ftp too, also it won't work. The specified file is empty. Adding bug report to that site...
Found another way to do the same: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=925555
@Saebekassebil: Thanks, yeh that LiveTweeter -solution (in the link I pasted) works fine for now. Now Chirping still won't output any information to any file. Tried http, ftp, and text-file, and I don't know why.
It seems like the (local) file isn't updated if you've got songbird shown in mini player view. Is this just me?
Also, can I request more variables? Bitrate, file format, song progress/total length, playlist length, etc.
Other than those two issues the plugin's been working great :D
It works now in newest version.
Hey,
I jsut installed this plugin with songbird, and made a quick plugin for this blog software called flatpress. Anyway, I have it configured to run through my FTP, and when ever the song changes, it adds the next song's data to the end of the previous song's data. Like so:
What I'm Currently Listening to:
Song Name: Santana DVX (Song 1)
Artist: The Lonely Island
Album: Incredibad
Search Song: Santana DVX @ Playlist.comWhat I'm Currently Listening to:
Song Name: The Warrior Inside (Song 2)
Artist: DragonForce
Album: Ultra Beatdown
Search Song: The Warrior Inside @ Playlist.comWhat I'm Currently Listening to:
Song Name: Open Your Mind ~chiisana hane hirogete~ (Song 3)
Artist: Yoko Ishida
Album: Ah! My Goddess TV
Search Song: Open Your Mind ~chiisana hane hirogete~ @ Playlist.com.
It just now changed to the fourth song in my playlist, (Invasion of the Gabber Robots) and it's just now cleared the data.
Is this a coded feature? I thought it would over write the data from the previous song everytime.

Yet another time, I must excuse for the UUID problems, it's fixed now, and will not be a problem anylonger
