Hiromacu
Wow! It was what I wanted to the mini and middle player. Thanks!
Good job! :)

MiniPlaylist provides a powerful interface for accessing your playlist when songbird is in mini-mode, vie right-click menu.
I created this so that, when I had a playlist on shuffle and songbird in mini-mode, I didn't have switch to full mode just to pick a song that i wanted.
Current menu structure:
MiniPlayList ->
In Current Playlist ->
All By Album
All By Artist ->
Counting Crows ->
Songs by this artist
...
...
Top Rated
Most Played
Change Playlist ->
[...]
Shuffle [x]
Repeat ->
Off
Single
All [x]
Added items to change shuffle mode, repeat mode.
Reorganized menu items -- now better named for clarity
Wow! It was what I wanted to the mini and middle player. Thanks!
Good job! :)
Très bonne idée! Merci!
Ça marche bien sur Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex ;)
Thanks for this nice Add-on! It works so good together with my new Pure Player Add-on :)
One suggestions: Instead of having one Item "All", i would prefer to have like three Items "By Artists" (the former "All"), "By Albums" and "By Genre", all of them having all music inside, but sorted differently.
@jabapyth: Unfortunately I found a bug! :(
- When I choose MiniPlayList->Change Playlist->Library an error message come up.
Screenshot: http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/9269/sbss01.png
If I press 'Continue' nothing (visible) happen (no sound).
- Then if I choose MiniPlayList->Most Played, I cant see sometimes 9, sometimes 10 strange tracks (null -- null).
Screenshot: http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/2543/sbss02.png
- If 'Recommended Playlists' is installed a new playlist appears filled with those null tracks.
Screenshot: http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2667/sbss03.png
If I delete this unwanted playlist, it's come back every time when I start or restart Songbird.
If I delete 'MiniPlaylist' extension, the playlist come back again.
But if I delete 'Recommended Playlists' as well, the playlist is disappeared.
So something changed in the profile with the playlists.
- If 'Now Playing List' is installed and I choose the playlist to play, the null tracks are appear but nothing happen (no sound).

I tested in an empty, totally new profile.
I Have the same than Hiromacu on Ubuntu 8.10
Oh yes, last time I forgot to write my system details:
Songbird 1.1.1, Build 1018 (20090309144748)
Windows XP MCE Version 2002 (SP3)
I got this error message:
Error: GStreamer error: No URI handler implemented for "songbird-medialist". Additional information: gsturidecodebin.c(832): gen_source_element (): /player/uridecodebin0
I tried to clean these tracks with 'The Exorcist' but it found nothing. So yeah, looks like we have an other type of unwanted tracks:
- 1st: clone,
- 2nd: ghost,
- 3rd: phantom.
@jabapyth: I found an other weird bug.

Heck of an addon. Just found it thanks to atreiu recommending it. 5 stars imo. :)
Thanks for the addon! If you're looking for suggestions, I'd like to see a menu that displays the tracks in the currently playing album and something similar to the "All" menu but one that lists the albums instead of the artists.
Also, adding a list of the next 10 or so upcoming tracks would be handy.
Se ve interesente y bastante util xD
Why wont it let me click install! this looks so useful!
Excelente extensión, debería estar integrada a Songbird de forma predeterminada.
Excellent add-on, should be integrated into Songbird by default.
Excellent add-on.
Only issue I have is that it makes my songbird lock up if there are too many songs in the playlist for this to cope with. For example it cannot be used whilst browsing my whole library. Any ideas on the limit to the number of songs it can handle?
I would like to try this but it won't let me install. Could you update for 1.2.0 please?
could you please update for 1.2.0 please? would be great !
The install button is grayed out, you left one "0" out in the max version number.
Great add-on, btw! Thanks for making it.
Hey everyone,
I want to know... how can add/modify/remove the current listings for the MiniPlayList?
I have several custom smart playlists that I would rather it show... the current listings don't help me.
Thank you and God bless,
Johnathan
great but you should update maxVersion to 1.5.0a
GeekShadow,
Thanks for the reply.
What is MaxVersion 1.5.0a?
@jabapyth,
Thasnk for the update and for the plugin... I'll definitely give kudos once I can use SmartPlaylists... that'll be awesome!
Genious!
but a little bit slow if you go to media library (I have about 2300 files which are mostly singles)
does it load automatically the total media library, if I select "All"?
Would it be possible to only load those Artists which are current visible within the drop-down-menu?
Marko
@Jabapyth,
Just curious, I got an update to the miniplaylist... what was the update? What did it do?
Thank you,
Johnathan
oh... sweet... thank you so much!
I've updates to 1.2.5... how do I use my current smart playlists? Is there some sort of import function? I've checked the 'Properties/ for the addon... didn't see anything new.
OK, AWESOME... I guess it took a while to import the platylists I had... it is working great now.. Thanks a TON JABAPYTH!
All it needs is the ability to flick through the songs of the current playlist, for example the one I currently use has songs listed alphabetically by song title, and I'd love to be able to flick through them as I would in the normal view alphabetically.
Otherwise, wonderfully useful - great idea! :)
can you update it for the latest version? thanks :)
GeekShadow
very nice add-on !
