Looks great!
Two things:
The highlighting of current tabs is a bit too light, I.E., its hard to tell which tab is the open tab. Also, I would consider changing the hover color for the back/forward/home etc.. buttons.
One thing I really like is the missing artwork design. You should consider making that a standalone add-on, like vinyl album art. Beautiful.

Only some contrasts are very hard good to read. I get black Text on dark gray Background in the URL and Search field. But

Looks better, but I think you may have gotten the wrong idea of what I meant. The hover color on the buttons is what needs to be changed. The new onClick colors look great, but the issue I had was with the hover colors. I want it to be more obvious what button my mouse is over basically. And the tabs didnt need to be darker, it just needed to be easier to tell which one was the current tab. :) Sorry to be nitpicky, I just wanted to clarify.

Its to give a sense of focus and more contrast to the typed text, duncan4000.
Really, any fairly bright color could work, but I find blue to be the most appealing for this theme.

This is a very attractive feather, however I have a few comments.
I really wish the difference between the colors for alternating lines in the Library had a sharper contrast. I can't really see much difference on my monitor even with my brightness and contrast turned up to 100%. I also agree with duncan4000 about not really liking the blue highlight. It's important to have a good contrast, but I feel like the bright blue is out of place in this theme, since it revolves around blacks and grays. I think you could solve both problems but allowing users to customize these (and possibly other) colors. Otherwise, I would really like to see more contrast between the alternating lines in the Library.

hmm, even on my monitor when I have brightness turned down to zilch it still looks contrasting....
I will definitely look into updating the hilighted text to a gray, and the alternating colors up a notch or 2.
and as for allowing users to change colors, you can do this by opening the xpi file and editing the css (I dont think the end user would have a very easy time doing this however.) So grey hilights seem very good in that case I guess.

Could someone please update this to work with 1.4.*? There's been enough changes to songbird that simply changing the maxVersion doesn't work anymore... :-/
