Superb. I honestly looked at it and almost skipped over it, but then decided, "why not?" and it looks real nice! I REALLY like the look of tabs, how they are integrated into the wood background instead of a standalone object. I also like the hover color, which contrasts very well. Overall I think this is a very nice feather. Is there any way you could make it in a few other colors, the brown kind of... sticks out... in a dark theme. Maybe a black theme and call it Ashen Oak or something? Idk... Just a suggestion.

As Katana has suggested an ASH would also be a great additional theme. Keep up the good work.

Like katana346 I kind of looked at this and thought it was to much of a strong design to fit on my Vista and Window 7 desktop. But having tried it, it is incredible, and for me it is 'because' of the strong design it fits in admirably, having such a different look to the usual 'fit in with the UI' philosophy. Make my songbird something quite special. As does 'NoteBird' another of my favorites that at first look I wasn't sure I would like..
The degree of polish and the 'eye for detail' that you have in designing this Feather is awesome. Every little element changes on mouse over, and the tab pop ups are very nice.

this feather is very nice but
1. the download button in skreemr isn't shown correctly
2. in lyric master there is a small stop sign behind a small gap when there is a notification to save the lyrics -> this doesn't look appropriate
3. in the main alternate feather there are some buttons to show and hide display panes missing and the "more of the same" button isn't shown, too.

however, this is in my opinion one of the most innovative feather in songbird!

amazing feather... great work....

But :(... found a couple of issues:

1. Search box on top right. shows the same search icon even when it has searched something rather than the "X" (clear icon)

2. The metadata editor has the right part of the form cut off....

I have screenshots to better explain the issue and can upload / email if required.

@alfredkayser: thanks for the update: the new pure player skin looks great!!
However, the other Pure Player skins like for example Simplicity, Cover Art,etc. don't work at all!
They are completely deformed!

Today when I opened songbird, this skin updated. It no longer works :( I've disable, uninstalled, reinstalled, the whole nine and nothing fixes the problem.

Hope I can get this working, I've been using walnut skins for sometime now for songbird and it has always been my skin for Firefox... I love it!

k.. well never mind about my last post. Seems I had to reinstall songbird from scratch, as some other extension or combination of extensions was making it hang.

Anywho, after the fresh install, all is good :) happy wooden bliss once again!
