Il manque plus que YABS rajoute à son interface SongBird.
Autre chose : tu pourrais mettre les radios de Jamendo?

Et une dernière chose : certaines radios (tel que Skyrock) ont un Bitrate trop bas, ce serait bien de pouvoir le changer de nous même. Car la qualitée est horrible sur certaines radios. Il faudrait donc pouvoir le changer dans le soptions, ce serait cool.

Just a suggestion: Why do you "host" the different web radios by yourself?
At home, I have a sonos sound sytem; this uses the API of http://radiotime.com/ to get access to thousands of radio stations. Imao it's worth to take a look at ;)

Hey GeekShadow, promising Add-on!

One bug: when uninstalling your add-on, the entry "Bird Tune" remains in servicepane, only without function and Icon.

One suggestions: it would be nice if you could import "chrome://songbird/skin/html.css" to your pages, so BirdTune uses the default colors of the selected feather for the content-frame. You would spare us the additional skinning of your add-on ;)

I removed this extension once I realized that my preferred radio service was already on Songbird. However, the radio bookmark still shows on my library's left pane, is there a way to remove it?

Please stop ignoring the comments mentioning the problem that birdtune stays in the sidebar after uninstallation... Tell us what file we have to edit to remove it or update the addon so we can reinstall to uninstall it again.

Ce serait bien de pouvoir voir les radios les plus écoutées grâce à un serveur (je veux bien le payer par pur bénévolat) qui mémoriserait le nombre de click sur chaque radio. Ou même les auditeurs pourraient noter les radios.

But it is still not working right: if i already have my sidebar open, (with birdtune or any other add-on in it), then a click on the bookmark load birdtune (as it should do), but then closes the sidebar. Can you make a fix, so the sidebar stay open, if it's already open?

(PS: also I see no need to clean the playlist window for just a tiny "welcome to birdtune -->"-message. I would prefer to still have my library open, just like it is, if open BirdTune in the sidebar by myself without the bookmark.)

Quand je click sur BirdTune, j'ai un écran... Très moche d'ailleur (noir) avec une inscription : "Welcome to BirdTune ->" même pas traduite en français et qui n'amène à rien...
Il serait interessant de pouvoir voir aussi les radios sur l'écran principale...

btw: It's hard to skin your add-on, because you are showing the website (right?) and my feather-code is not applied to websites (because if I do this, websites are not shown correct).

Could you try to include html.css into your html code?

Bravo pour cet add-on mais attention il y a quelque chose qu'il faudrait signaler quand on l'installe:
Il faut autoriser "le contrôle de la lecture des fichiers" à "geekshadow.com" car j'ai eu un mal de fou a trouver d'où venait le fait que songbird ne lise pas les radios en cliquant sur les liens en mettant dans la console d'erreur un message signalant une action non autorisée...
C'était parce que dans les options (onglet "Intégration Web") j'avais coché l'élément "Empêcher les sites web de contrôler la lecture des fichiers" !

Un petit message le signalant lors de l'installation ou sur une des pages de l'addon serait bienvenu... ;)

Just to let you know that I like your plugin BUT:
it would be really easier, like dave418 said it, that we get the opportunity to add our own radio ;-)
If it's really to complex to add this option I have to advises:
 - You should get the swiss version of couleur3 (without advertisment) the french one sucks!!
 -In Germany (Bayern) there is also Gong fm,Ego Fm, Antenna Bayern, Bayerns 3 2 and of course the best for Schläger Bayerns 1 :-)

One thing to improve is the reporting of the radio station. If you put a system in place where everybody can recommend/add stations directly out of songbird you can harness the power of the community to build a really cool and big plugin!

Wonderful plugin, this is what we really need!

I agree with one of the previous posters: a way to use the knowledge of the community to provide radio stations would be excellent. I suggest you contact the songbird developers about this, it might be too much work for just a plugin but i think this should be supported by the main player after all.

If implemented this way, it would be AWESOME if one could give some extra information about a station: think of genre and bitrate, but also (a feature nobody has but is very important) the commercial vs. music ratio, and the amount of talking by DJ's.

I strongly prefer stations without commercials and without too much talk. The very best available imho is Radio Paradise http://www.radioparadise.com/content.php?name=Listen (hand-mixed eclectic station hailing from the US with a huge fanbase and excellent quality streams).
Also nice is the well known soma network (http://somafm.com/listen/), which has 0 commercials too but has a computer-generated playlist.

Again, thanks for this plugin, this could be the beginning of something awesome.

J'ai un problème, quand je clique sur le logo d'une radio, elle ne se joue pas. Il n'y a que les radios allemandes qui fonctionnent.
Avant ce plugin marchait très bien chez moi.

Je suis sous ubuntu, songbird 1.2.

En fait je viens de remarquer que seules les radios ayant un lien "http://..." se lancent. Les autres, ayant un lien "javascript.songbird.playURL..." ne se lancent pas.

1) depuis quelque temps maintenant, France-info ne fonctionne plus (sauf à passer par le lien pointant vers le site web.
2) pourquoi ne pas permettre aux utilisateurs d'insérer eux-mêmes les radio comme le fait le plug-in édité par Todae pour Winamp ? En outre, il y aurait peut-être ainsi une possibilité que les utilisateurs alimentent de cette façon une BD mutualisée te dégageant ainsi du temps ? Mais bon sur ce dernier point je ne suis pas technicien ;)

Another great addon GeekShadow, you are truly an asset to the flock!

I noticed the page with the stations is a php page, I guess you are reading building it based on some DB you have on your site.

I would like to add various Israeli stations, but I don't want to burden you. I was thinking that you could post an example CSV file that I (or anyone else requesting a station) will fill with the stations he wants to add add.
After that importing that CSV to your DB should be a snap and save you a lot of time.

In addition, since this add-on is getting so popular - you might consider talking to the songbird team to move the php & db to their site (as suggested here in the comments in the past), not to overload your own server.

I do no see any birdtune after installing, the add-on appears in settings. But there is nowhere in the UI where I am able to select birdtune.
