A feather resembling Spotify
This is a feather that tries to make Songbird look like Spotify. It's the first feather I've created.
Two small changes:
- Search GO button
- Arrow indicating the currently playing song
YEAH! This is what I'm talking about!
Integrate Spotify with Songbird and we got a beautiful product to play around with.
With this feather being the first step towards this, I wish you luck with it.
Still, it's a shame it isn't available for the U.S yet. :-P

Best Songbird feather! Simple and good looking. This feather made me stick with songbird... there is not many good feathers out there.

In the new spotbird 1.0.0.3, the edges of the search icons are outside the search box, as you can see in this screenshot:

Also i think that the back/forward buttons are very rounded too...
But keep the good work! This is still the best Songbird feather out there! :)

First of all, thank you for the positive feedback on my feather! It's comments like yours that keep me motivated to continue improving Spotbird.
Yes, I noticed the icon-edge thing too and I fixed that in the new version by having a slightly less rounded search-bar.
I want to point out that my only goal with Spotird is to emulate the look of the Spotify music player. The Back/Forward button and search in Spotify looks like this:
And that's why I rounded the edges of the corresponding elements in Spotbird. However, you are right that the other buttons in the nav-bar look a little silly with rounded edges so I changed that back for the new version. I hope you can live with the rounded Back/Forward buttons. If not, you can always download 1.0.0.2 again! :)

The little custom logo in the bg-faceplate-inactive-splash.png is a nice touch.
I don't know how much of this was you, and how much was spot bird, but the colors all look very crisp together. Good job!

I can live with the rounded back/forward button edges, although I think less rounded edges (just like the media view button) would look much more professional.

I would definitely be interested in contributing to such a project. I am not a particularly skílled programmer though, so I have no idea how one would go about in doing such a thing.
Definitely the best theme. Thank you very much, and could you please update (cannot install in SB 1.1.1). Unfortunately, I haven't a clue about programming.
On this note, it's too bad to hear that Spotify is not available everywhere. It is simply a fantastic application.

Finally a good dark theme! Spotify ftw!
There are a few minor points, though, that bug me just a bit.
- The dark line around the back/forward buttons when they are inactive. The line is in my opinion too thick, somehow. I don't think you need to draw it on the sides aswell, what if you kept it just to the upper edge? That way it would look more like a shadow, rather than a border, as it does now.
- The color of the active tab is a bit off, especially when the active tab is the music player. The "note" icon doesn't blend too well with the light color.
- The arrow indicating the current song in the playlist. When the current song is not marked, it is sometimes hard to see the little arrow, as it is black on a dark grey background. It would perhaps be better, if you'd have it the same color as the song title (white) ?
Other than that, superb job. It's my feather of choice!

the best skin ive ever seen.............simply the best.......ive always felt that itunes looks better compared to songbird which i feel by default looks somwat dismantled or som thin......but this skin maks it lok lik a dark itunes and blimey the combo of blue wit ash is hell attractiv.......cheers dude

Is it just me or does this feather perform better than a lot of others (sparkle, for example)? I have a big library and i seem to be able to scroll through it more smoothly

Overall, fantastic release Andreas, but I've found some glitches and I'd like to share them with you.
Here you can find these bugs.
#1 Buttons to for default media views are still remaining, blank
#2 This maybe hard to see, but when maximized, there is a white line which spoils my idealistic vision :D
#3 Missing shuffle & repeat buttons
My resolution - 1280x800, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, if it helps. (:
I cannot use this feather as the display panes are blank white. I cannot see my LyricMaster lyrics on the side or my mashTape on the bottom. If you fix the display pane problem, then I would totally use it. Other than this, I think it's beautiful!
