And hey, if you like this Feather, and want something similar for Firefox, try the Miint Theme by TwisterMC. That's what I use.
This is actually version 0.4.0.3, because 0.5.0.0 has that window-draw bug again just like 0.4.0.1 did.
This should automatically update everyone using this to a working version. FYI, you can click on the "version history" link on the right and download any previous version [of any add-on]. This version is for everyone who didn't know that or who just doesn't want to deal with manually downgrading.
There is nothing new in this version at all.
This is a quick, temporary fix. I'll be traveling in an area in south america without internet access. When I do find a fix I won't be able to upload it for a while, so bear with the regressed version for a few days.
Nice theme. I also like Green: Any chance of you utilizing some of the colors in the following theme for one of yours? It does not appear that the developer is inclined to do much more with this: http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/1420
Actually, i was not expecting you to change Chlorophyll per se, but rather to adopt those shades of Green in that link I posted in maybe a different feather, if it is not a hassle.
May I also suggest that you consider the font modification for lyricsmaster that is done by YABS (http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/1295)? It helps to have teh lyrics fit without scrolling, if there is not a lot. Thanks for your work either way.
Well-done and a nice-looking add on. Thank you.
Your newest version causes one of the nightly builds to display all funny.
I can grab a screenshot if you want.
In general the top half of the screen turns blank and there aren't any colors. I think the boot time for songbird also goes haywire.
Since I have no idea why this happens, I can't really be more specific.
sorry :(
I can't get this feather to install - no idea why
Hmm so I reinstalled 1.0 and I'm getting the same problem as forcestorm.
I get all the way to where it asks me to restart Songbird, and when I do it acts as if nothing has happened.
Maybe connected to the problem with the nightly builds.
Windows 7 Beta, but everything else is working. SongBird 1.0.0 860
I'm experiencing the "non-existent theme" problem too. I'm using a Nightly Build on Windows XP SP2. Build ID is Songbird 1.1.1a, Build 962 (20090208012409).
Downloading and installing works fine, but after restarting the add-on is not listed.
I like the looks of this one, however after downloading and installing it twice it fails to open or show up in the feathers list.
Having the same problem that Arancaytar & Dpm mentioned. Looks great though...hopefully we can get it working!
Three days now and no reply to the problem with this not installing.

installs fine using Linux Mint 5 (Ubuntu 8.04)
Or, follow the TeX model and declare the windows bug to be a permanent feature.
Oh, and the WTFPL is kinda-sorta not compatible with this. I recommend you re-release under dual licenses and have your second one be something like a CC-BY-SA
I'm running Songbird 1.1.1, Build 1018 on Mandriva 2009 and your add-on works fine. The colors are nice and the fonts are readable (unlike some feathers that leave fonts unreadable because of their choice of colors). Thank you for your work on a nice feather!
The logo is the logo from my school: The Evergreen State College. Are you a greener?
Im having the same problem as Arancaytar and DPM, are there any solutions yet?
The latest version of this addon does not work with Windows or Linux. After a restart of Songbird, the addon does not appear to have been installed, and does not show in the main interface or the extensions window. The previous version works on Linux just fine, but none work on Windows. Tested using Debian Lenny and Windows 7 build 7000.
Manually copying the xpi files from the newest version to an existing theme works, although the selection color on the left sidebar is white instead of green, like in the screenshots for version 4 of this addon.
Just signed in to Songbird using Chlorophyl as my Username to
1) Say this: I love this feather! Great work! Thank you!
2) Wow, it took me about 2 hours to finally let it show up correctly!
That's how I solved the problems (either not installed or not visible as feather or - if i went to add-ons - it said 'Restart to finish the installation' although it was already visible as feather
or an absolute corrupt display...):
a) Closed Songbird (while another feather was active)
b) Deleted the folder labeled "{1025f261-aaa3-4800-f11f-3d8b8bc092e5}" under extensions in 'Application Data\Songbird2\Profiles\MyProfile.default'
c) Started and closed again Songbird
d) Created the above folder again.
e) Manually unzipped the contents of the xpi file (which is nothing else but a zip file!) into this folder
f) Started Songbird again.
Voilá, couldn't be simpler!
Nonetheless, this feather's look was it all worth.
Hmmm, 0.5.0.1 didn't fix this issue, on the contrary, all my efforts are destroyed.
The drawing-/installation issue is still there, I only see a crap right now.
I think I've got to redo what I've described in my last post...
Grrrr....
Edit to above post:
With my knowledge now on how to do a correct install it just took me 2 minutes to do so now!
I really love this feather but it seems to not work in version 1.1. Please fix this I miss my feather.
I finally got it running :]
Its my favorite skin so far.
(mainly because green is my favorite color)
The only problem was installing it.
But all of that is passed me now so thank you Kieran, and thank you Chlorophyl for the directions.
Thank you for this amazing feather!
I was finally able to install it using Chlorophyl's directions 6 posts up.
Just a heads up Chlorophyll,
Just installed the unmodified 0.5.0.1 xpi under Ubuntu and it went in perfectly.

The icon is kind of cool :-)
