Awesome!
This is beautiful! I’m looking forward to Thunderbird integration down the road.
awesome, you finally got this to work, congrads
works very nicely, but I supposed i should let you know .1.5 just came out.
I have a theme here, hopefully more to come, with the new style, if anyone has any ideas, contact me on my site

You can also access the ubiquity prefrences and settings by hitting your hot keys and typing HELP
Great add on. Even though i get the screen when i select ctrl+enter, somehow the email function doesn't work even though I am logged in? Every time i hit enter, nothing happens. I have referred to the tutorial and f.a.q.
tip: you can just type the numbers 1 - 5, and the ratings search will be suggested.
Awesome work, Geek!!! Way to go, to port this, the awesomnest of all addon projects.
But I have one "bug" to report. As soon, as I go to about:ubiquity, songbird always wants to download the vimeo video...
Odd thing!
What is a sure way to test if it works? Here's a screencap
I use gmail manager on songbird, does it affect it? I tried using ubiquity without the add on and it still fails to get my gmail even though i am clearly logged in. I'm desperate to use the email function on ubiquity!
I love the idea of ubiquity on firefox and songbird. Some ideas were posted in this thread that could improve this addon.
Love this add-on. One request: I'm unable to use twtplus as I'm guessing there's nothing there to authorize the Twitter login. If this could be added I'd be forever grateful.
thanks geek shadow,
this is one of the most useful and innovative add-ons I have ever seen!!!
But the map command doesn't work.
in addition,
there is a new version out now: ubiquity 0.1.8
GeekShadow, thanks for porting this. It's one of the things I missed most from Firefox. But for me (on Vista), clicking results won't open them... have to press enter and open the entire result page... Besides that it works great. Yay for dynamic volume control! Any chance you could port over a few other add-ons if you have the time? there are a bunch that I think would benefit Songbird Users
Thanks for the update! :)
i am an enormous fan of Ubiquity and follow the herd, but i have also written some scripts that will give you Ubiquity Searches for the following 3 engines: Pollstar, Elbo.ws Music Blog Aggregator, & eMusic.
they can be found at my github:
http://github.com/itendo/
eMusic: http://gist.github.com/135821
Elbo.ws: http://gist.github.com/122532
Pollstar: http://gist.github.com/67001
can you add ubiquity to the right click what'sitcalled? (brain fart!). So you can right click>ubiquity>translate and translate text on the page.
