Simply beautiful, just like your other feathers.
A few VERY small suggestions:
1. the resizer of the album-art-display-pane might be better in dark, I think. The color looks nice when separating bottom and right display pane, but it doesn't fit very well in the dark service-pane.
2. I love the light blue border of your toolbar-buttons! Please use this for the Search-bar-Button, too. Also the reflection in the Search-bar-Button is different to the other toolbar-buttons.
3. The system-buttons in the title-bar (close, restore, etc.) could use a little more saturation on hover. Just a little bit more red/blue.
4. The selected but non focused elements in the Playlist are hard to read. Its white Text on this very light bar in the background.
Anyway, I'm sure this theme will become a yabs-killer! ;-)

as i am sure you are quite busy i wont hold my breath on this request, but i would just LOVE to see this skin model in a dark brown. The glass look with a more earth-tone brown is just one of my favorite looks :p

well there is a theme for windows on deviantart by a guy who goes by lassekongo83 thats called Knorr VS, if you drop me your e-mail i can take a screen shot of my desktop and toolbar and all that stuff so you can see what im talking about,

i've tried to find a picture of his dark brown one on deviant art but i couldnt track one down. their are pictures of it in blue and green which are the other two options. It COULD be there though and i just missed it,

either way just let me know and i would be ever in debt if you would recolor it for me. haha, i feel like a little kid because i know EXACTLY what i'm looking for but just dont know enough about making skins of any kind to be able to do it myself

Hey man, love the feather, use it all the time. One thing. When editing metadata, the background is white in the window that opens and the text that labels the input fields is also white. This makes things.... difficult. I was wondering if you could fix it and maybe make the background in that window black or something.

Also, just a minor thing I noticed, the reflections/streaks of light in your feather (those in the titlebar/on selection of a song, and in the selection pane) go the opposite direction of those in the Aero theme on vista and 7. Looks fine, just figured I'd note that.

Oh one more thing. This is actually something I noticed with every feather in SB that don't use the default titlebar in Windows: the minimize, maximize, and close buttons don't extend out to the borders of the windows. I.E., I can't have the window maximized and simply slide my mouse to the top-right of the screen to select close. Don't know if this is impossible to do, or if it has some weird limitation, but it would be a nice feature.

Everything looks great! Excellent work! It feels alot more at home in an Aero environment.

I feel like a jack*** making suggestions just after a new update like this, but this is something I just noticed when I was messing around with the new look. When hovering over anything, the drop-down tool-tips are white with white text, making somewhat difficult to read. No rush to fix this, just wanted to bring whatever I find to your attention!

Ok, here's some things I'd like to see fixed: 1) Fix the loading icon, it looks like trash, 2) fix the "add bookmark" icon in the URL bar, 3) the close button is really hard to find after you "Find Updates" in the addons area, 4) add hover and selected to the scrollbar, 5) and fix the searchbar icon highlight background and the background color of the selected search engine. I love the overall skin, great job on it, hope to see you continuing to work in feedback from others!

Sorry about the response time, I went on spring break about a day after I wrote that whole deal. Let's see...

2) Maybe a solid color instead of a gradient?

5) I mean that on the search bar, in the search engine choice area, there's a light-yellow background on white text on the selected search engine, which makes it unreadable.

6?) I like the attempt to round the border slightly on the selected item in the right sidebar, but I believe you forgot (or can't) to round the border on the left side of it too, which is a little odd.

I have a problem with Music Recommendations, which for me, makes this theme completely unusable (even though it looks so damn great).

Under "Similar Artists", where underneath each artist, it's supposed to show the number of tracks you have by them, it's basically half cut out sort of..

You can see the tops of the letters but the rest is cut off by the next artist.. I wonder if you know what I mean...

I'm lovin' the new skin and, as always, I'm seein' some stuff you could fix.
1) The mouseover on the song/band/album text in the play bar looks pretty stupid. Maybe try a change text color on mouseover instead?
2) This might only be me, but the tooltip ballons have the light yellow background with white text, making them unreadable (Windows XP).
3) Is there any way to alternate the line colors in the playlist? That'd be pretty beast.
4) It'd be nice to have some mouseover and selected on the scrollbars.
It's great to see you working on the skin again, I really love what you've done with it.

You should not be disappointed to not be on stevel list, your feathers are very cool yet ;)

What I find disappointed is that people are always making feather with the developer tools extension and not full original feather with a new layout, browser etc.

I'm all in favour of some subtle blue lowlights, I think they look really good. The skin looks nice, but it isn't wide enough for my monitor, leaving black spots at both sides of the menu bar (samsung 2343, with a resolution of 2048x1152).

Just my two cents, but I preferred it when the background was black, or at least a bit darker. The new brighter one seems to contrast a bit too much with the other panes and the rest of the UI.

I had the same problem with the "Chrome"-feather, but it was solved very quickly with the following release. No problems with other feathers like "Cartoon" or "Glossy Coat 2".

Really like that the stars stand out a bit more, but on an aesthetic level i'd probably go for a bit more blue...blue. It's sorta Parma Violet coloured atm! (they're these little pinky/purple sweets if you don't have them) And actually, I have to agree with 7891 above, I think a slightly darker background would probably fit better - is there any way you could maybe make that an option? Just my thoughts :) Love the standard album art replacement, really nice! What do you use for image editing? Gimp?

Some new feedback:
The pure player for some reason is gray which doesnt match the rest of the feather.
I like the buttons on the main and medium players could you implement them into the mini player?
Tooltips once you figure out how to do it in CSS.

Hahahah, well, if you can't find it on google then it's probably not real. Yeah, I would go for a dark background with white text - maybe similar to the playlist pane? But if other people are fans of it as it is, maybe you could create like a dark branch and a light branch? Maybe that would just massively increase your workload. Ah, nice - I'm using Gimp on XP atm which just feels a little bit wrong...

I really like the changes you've done in 0.9.3, great job. As usual, my suggestions are quite small, as the overall design is awesome.
1)Redo the play time bar. Maybe make the outline a lighter blue and make the ball cooler looking, I dunno.
2)Loading icon ;)
3)Redo the volume bar, it's starting to look outdated compared to the rest of the skins' sleekness.

Really, I'm running out of stuff to talk about, good job keeping up with your work. :P

One word... WOW! Unfortunately i haven't been able to actually use the skin because i gave up using songbird :(. it was just too much hassle in the end and i thought i would wait for a bit. That's beside the point however :p. I remember commenting on a previous version of aero bird. back when it was blue. It looked amazing back then and was hands down probably the best skin for SB in existence. This one is 100X better! It looks fantastic. You did an amazing job. I might even reinstall SB just so i can use your skin :) Keep it up!

I haven't used this feather for a while, but now I'm surprised about a lot of new things to me :)

I really LOVE your player control buttons. Especially Forward and Back buttons are looking fantastic! (only the > and the II of Play/Pause look a little bit off center). I wish I had your Photoshop-Foo...
The toolbar-buttons look very nice, too.

But I don't like, is the very thin service-pane resizer. Only 1px? That makes it extremely difficult to use, imho. Or is there another way to resize this pane?

Is it Impossible to View this or any other Add-on in fullscreen ? I have been searching for a Add-On which is like Harmony but more custumizable.

This skin is dynamite!! I enjoy dark skins anyway but this is a different take than the usual. It has rather a "spacey" feel. Good choice on fonts, very readable. I'll be using this one for a long while.

Hi!

This is one of the best themes for songbird, but unfortunately I've run across a bug. In Grid View -addon when you hover over album art and move cursor away from the album the hover background does not disappear but stays there until you restart Songbird. Not so critical, but still somewhat irritant.

I hope you find a way to fix this case! Thank you.

I have found a problem with the Tag Cloud Generator addon that is similar to the Last.fm text/background problem. The "tags on selected items" field has black text on a black background. Not sure if this is Aero Bird's fault or Tag Cloud Generator's, all other text in the Pane is white-on-black.

This has to be my favorite feather in terms of looks. It's amazing, but unfortunately it's a little much for my netbook to handle. There is a decent amount of lag when switching from another program to songbird. If it wasn't for that, there would be no contest with any of the others.

Great feather. Only thing weird thing for me is that it usually causes songbird to crash once or twice before the player actually opens. I'm assuming the issue is with the feather because the problem started as soon as I installed it. I'm using Windows 7 Professional.

Ok, sorry I didn't read previous posts correctly. So I guess it's a known 'bug'. But why can't we just change it in the change ur font option? (I'm no skin builder and completely clueless in it so sorry if I think too lightly about it)

Kick ass skin though, exactly the tightness I'm looking for. I prefer black or very dark grey almost black background in library and playlist though, and then white letter. And them lines that you can keep the songs apart from each other or two songs at a time division.

Lib... we will miss you. As much as I would LOVE to take over the feather, I know very little coding and really don't have the time. If anyone else would be willing to collaborate, I would love to help. I actually have some really cool design ideas for Songbird that I have wanted to make into feathers but haven't due to lack of technical know-how.
I really would like to see Aerobird updated, as it is by far the best feather I have seen for Songbird.
