Aerofirebird light Samnes

Theme that mimics Firefox on Vista but has WMP colors.

Aerofirebird light

Description

This theme mimics default look of Firefox 3 on Vista and then throws Windows Media Player like colors in to the mix creating unique and fancy effect.

Highlights include:

  • Native window borders. Meaning that you get fancy glass around the bird if you have Aero on!
  • Firefoxy browser buttons!
  • Miniplayer included!

Comments&critiques would help me improve this feather even further so don't forget to have your say.

Release Notes

1.3.0: Updated to work with 1.1.x release of Songbird.

honestly, I can't see much of a difference between this and Aerofirebird. Maybe a little bit lighter, but not really that noticeably...

Thanks for the comment katana346!

I showed the difference between Aerofirebird and this one to a friend and his reaction was "Did it change?". So you aren't the only one who doesn't see the difference!

I guess I could try to spice this one up little bit by adding some gloss so would't be selling the same feather twice...

Change the player controls(play, pause, next, etc.) to be lighter. A bit of yellow on highlights and stuff could also show a big difference.

This is my favorite feather. I like it just the way it is. Thanks for putting it together for us.

The update looks good, except for one thing. I’m using the Pause/Play/Stop add-on to add a Stop button, and while it was no problem to create a matching Stop button for the main view, I haven’t been able to figure out how to change it for the mini-player yet. Any ideas how to do this? Or could matching Stop buttons be a part of future updates? Thanks.

Nevermind. I figured out how to do it. The Stop button was in the directory of the Pause/Play/Stop Button extension. If anybody else wants it, here it is:

And here’s the one for the main player (goes in the Aerofirebird Light extension directory -> media-control-pane folder):

Please, create version for 1.2.0, it doesn't work in Songbird 1.2.0, Build 1146 (it says, that this extension is incompatible).
