there you go =)
I seriously love the new Songbird UI, fantastic design from the Songbird team.
However I find the gray itself can become a little boring and I wanted something a little less Mac-like. However I also wanted to avoid making a Windows Media clone theme or changing the default theme too much.
VistaBird takes some elements from WMP, more from Aero and mixes it up with the standard Songbird look to create a theme which I hope feels right at home in Windows Vista. Many of the changes are very subtle, but I think it works really well.
This release is incomplete but has enough going on that it still looks decent, It should be fully completed within a few days.
Any suggestions on the color of the nav-bar buttons? I can't find something which fits in really well...

Suggestions comment below and I'll see what I can do.
New backwards-forwards buttons based on the Vista arrows
New next/previous song buttons
minor modifications in other places
Looks good. I'm glad to see a different Vista skin than what i made. The more options the better. :)
Don't get me wrong here, I'm happy that your making a vista skin too. We seem to both be taking a different approach as it is, because mine seems to be a bit light and yours seems to be a bit on the darker side. This is truly great because it gives users a choice.
Just out of curiosity, how are you going to do the faceplate? I'm still don't know what i'm going to do. I don't even have a flicker of an idea :(
I changed mine to a darker version of the media pane background, but it doesn't look good. I might just have the black too.
