AVIM

This extension allows you to type Vietnamese text into any Songbird or webpage textbox using a standard keyboard. Diacritical marks are entered using any of four input methods: Telex, VNI, VIQR, or VIQR*.

A compact status bar panel, menu, and keyboard shortcuts (such as Ctrl+Alt+V to enable/disable) allow you to quickly configure the extension while typing. For advanced options, you can open the preference panel from the Add-ons window.

The AVIM extension works everywhere in Songbird: not only in Web pages, but also in windows and dialog boxes. It supports every extension that opens a window, including ChatZilla, Firebug, ScribeFire, and StumbleUpon. In addition, Gmail, Google Docs, and Bespin are all fully supported. IMEs in webpages are automatically turned off to prevent conflicts.

Phần mở rộng này cho phép nhập tiếng Việt vào hộp văn bản nào của Songbird hay trang Web dùng bàn phím thường. Có thể bỏ dấu dùng một trong bốn kiểu gõ: Telex, VNI, VIQR, hoặc VIQR*.

Nó hỗ trợ nhiều phần mở rộng mở cửa sổ, chẳng hạn ChatZilla, Firebug, ScribeFire, và StumbleUpon. Ngoài ra, Gmail, Google Docs, và Bespin đều được hỗ trợ đầy đủ. Phần mở rộng tự động tắt các bộ gõ được nhúng vào trang Web, để tránh sự xung đột.
