sounds good but it doesn’t work fpr me maybe its because
I’m using win XP64 ore infarct of
the last pidgin update but it doesn’t work.
Need Pidgin support, and maybe a function to copy actual song to
clipboard so I can post it everywhere^^
It’s not working for me ;3;
It won’t show what I’m listening to on Windows Live Messenger.
Thanks for the explanation but do you need Windows Media Player on your computer? Cause i don’t have it and Windows Live Messenger won’t let me activate the option to show song information…
Hey, i tried tips you said ahead, nothing working…
It doesn’t work with the latest version of Windows Live
Messenger, apparently.
I’m using a Windows XP with SP3, if
it helps.
It’s not working for me. I downloaded the 8.5 version of WLM though and i followed your instructions :(
Hi…
WLM 8.5.1302.1018 on Windows VISTA…doesn’t work for me…
Any ideas?
THX!
I like this addon, but it would be great the option not to post everything played to twitter, like with Twittytunes. Great support for WLM.
hi i cant get it to work either, using WLM 8.5 and WMP 9.. XP service pack 2
I have Windows XP SP2 as well. I gave up Songbird but if you have a solution i’ll try it ;)
I’d lioe it if this worked in Pidgin. I’ve tried the pidgin-lastfm plugin but it doesn’t work for me.
love*
With Windows Live Messenger(the newest Version) it doesn’t work!=’(
Works perfectly for me on VISTA Ultimate 64-Bit.
:D :D :D
Really, really great!! Thank you so much for getting this to work
as it should!
Finally all of my msncontacts can see my good taste in
music….
Maybe I'm just being extremely picky and it is a very minor issue but the song name and the artist are the wrong round when displayed in Messenger.
It displays it as 'Radiohead - Airbag' when it should be 'Airbag - Radiohead'. Maybe sometime you could fix that around? Again, I know it's very minor but it's been bugging me. =P
It works! Thanks a lot! BTW, I'm using WLM 9.0.1407.1107
yayhooray cute
i'm having trouble setting the options for this. i go to add ons and click options but it just locks up. the option window goes completely non responsive
don't worry about it. i fixed it! seems like a few of my add ons were conflicting with getting installed and stuff. great add on by the way
Hey Geekshadow, what do you say about adding an option that makes it possible to hide the twitter button? I personally don't use twitter that much, and therefore I'd like to get rid of the unnecessary button... Other than this, one of my favorite add-ons!
I just tried downloading git and it said it isn't supported in firefox3.
Working perfectly on XP SP3 + messenger 8.5 + wmp 11
Good job! :D
Too bad you doesn't support the cross-platform MSN Client "Mercury".
I'll also like to see an Adium (Mac) support :)
Keep up the good work dude :)
thanks works now :D
Hey GeekShadow,
So, I have the twitter account "plays" after seeing this twitter aggregator for food:
http://foodfeed.us/
Cool, eh? We can then do all sorts of interesting things w/ the @plays feed.
Contact me via email rob @ songbirdnest.
Support for Pidgin please! :)
Any chance for Xfire support? I've been use Xfire Plus: Music Plugin with other media players, but currently it doesn't support Songbird.
Any AIM plans in store?
Have you considered plans for aMSN support?
aMSN being the linux clone of MSN.
Nobody's currently added any songbird support for the aMSN music plugin.
Thx! :) Is there some date for the release?
Pidgin + pidgin-musictracker-0.4.8 works with livetweeter
IRC now playing shortcut plz. :p
Thx! Oh wait... I've installed livetweeter 1.3, pidgin 2.5.1 and musictracker-0.4.8 and nobody happens :? It's easy to configure?
Excellent addon! Thanks, everything working flawless for days already...
I've made a blog post about the installation/settings: http://www.ormus.info/archives/14-Songbird-and-Pidgin-flying-together-english.html
Hey, it would be nice to tweet only when the artist changes. I don't want to swamp people.
hey geekshadow. brilliant add on. one thing that i've noticed though and i'm confused as to if its you're add on or the "now playing list" add on but the songs playing from the "now playing queue" aren't displayed on msn. only songs played directly from the library are displayed. strange problem but other than that minor annoyance its a fantastic add on! thanks
Any upcoming WLM 9 beta support?
Would be useful put this "Tools -> Options… -> Personal -> Show song information…
In Songbird : Tools -> Addons… -> LiveTweeter -> Options -> Live Messenger -> Activate…" (that you have said in a comment) in the paragraph MSN/Windows Live Messenger Users:, for the people who in the first time don't work this add-on with WLM.
LiveTweeter is twitting all the songs I'm listening without I having touched the button!
Any way of getting this to work with Digsby?
@GeekShadow: For some reason I can't get it to work with WLM 9 beta. I have the extension turned on, I have the option ticked on WLM, I even went through WMP to make sure it's turned on in there for god knows what dependencies or anything that might be able to help.
Funny that this addon has been here and i did not see it. Been wondering how to get songs playing in Songbirds to be detected by the im program. But, as I said, the only program I use now for Im is Digsby, so wondering if I am missing something that would allow it to show up through Digsby, or if it is simply not applicable for Digsby as yet.
I realize that Digsby was not listed, but I assumed you were simply not listing every single media player it could work with. The fact that it is not working, makes me assume it does not, but, would appreciate a bit of confirmation before I tweak the addon to death.
@GeekShadow
Thank you very much.
@ GeekShadow: Well, that loses the point doesn't it? =\ Also I reformatted once for several reasons, not related to this one, but I had WLM 9 beta before & after the reformat, didn't work in either. Well before, it just showed blank as title and artist so WLM just showed space hyphen space (" - ") but now it doesn't show anything at all.
I cant seem to get this to work with Pidgin. I'm on Linux x64. Are you sure this works with my system? Or am I doing something wrong?
@GeekShadow
I went through that page when I was setting it all up, and I get nothing. Is there anyone on Linux x64 that can confirm that this works?
Im wondering, do I need a dbus extension for songbird for this to work for me?
I installed that. The text file is the only one that works and it kinda sucks.
And musictracker works fine for me, for VLC that is, but songbird is a no go. :(
I am Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit, WLM 8.5.1302.1018 e WMP 11.0.6001.7000 and it does'nt work.(the plugin in WMP is actived)
now it perfect works!
Thank you!
Is there going to be any support for album titles and even possibly the year?
Works perfectly for Windows Messenger Beta (14.0.5027.908) :o but it doesn't work at all with the latest version of pidgin (2.5.2). Even with the latest musictracker plugin (4.11) or reverting it back to musictracker (4.8) nothing will get pidgin to recognize it.
I can't even use the currenttrack plugin because it crashes the pidgin.
Aim support would be nice since pidgin has a strong support for it :D
Still though good plugin for win messenger.
Suggestion for the export to file:
Could you export the cover as well? Plus have the Title, Artist, Album seperated by newlines (or have a selection box for the seperator)? That way I could create a nice Samurize config for my desktop like this one here: http://sticktron.deviantart.com/art/Now-Playin-for-Samurize-21510940
When can you give support to Songbird + Pidgin + Ubuntu (others) ?
Thanks :)
Brilliant add-on, I'm so glad that it just worked when checking the box in tools!
@GeekShadow
Great news! Actually I'm currently typing the blog entry explaining how to put the currently playing song info onto the desktop. Integration of the cover art will improve the looks a lot! Is it in the Subversion repository already? That way I could work ahead a little...
On a side note: Things will be much easier (at least for me), if there is the option to split artist/title/album with linfeeds instead of a '-', so please consider adding that option. I adjusted my local plugin to work that way...
Version: Songbird/0.7.0 (20080819112708) XPCOMViewer/0.9a (2008072921) Build 716
@geekshadow twitter is not working here. yknow, i think it would be great there were an option to tweet only on fav'ing. it is nice, since you can keep track of discoveries, and it prevents one from flooding followers on twitter. of course, it'd have to work independently from the IM support (pidgin should refresh on music change)... am i asking too much?
i would like to actually help you code it. is livetweet open sourced?
Veeeery nice!
But what about blip.fm support? That would be cool...
Great work!
Hey,
Live messenger doesn't really work for me, It does display the song and artist in the 'header' (the box where you can change your second nickname),
But I added myself as a contact and the songs don't display in my nickname in my contact list, I asked a friend, and he doesn't see it either...
Software:
WLM 9 beta, version14.0.5027.908
Windows vista
WMP 11
Songbird 1.0 RC3
There is also a bug with LiveTweeter and ShoutCast. The issue I encountered had to do with the transmission of the song title to the IM agents. Also, LiveTweeter restricted the access to ShoutCast as well.
It does not work for me. Please upgrade.
I am having trouble with the Twitter feature. When I post the song, it says that I have posted...but it does not show up on my Twitter account. (http://twitter.com/brazilnut72)
@brazilnut72: try the experimental 1.4-version. i had the same problem, with 1.4 it works just fine
@merderein Thanks...that did the trick!
One little feature is missing from this that would make it almost perfect in my view.... can you make it so the tweet happens maybe halfway through the song (like Audioscrobbler)? This would prevent loads of tweets happening if you were just skipping quickly over tracks to reach another and would give a truer representation of what you are "listening" to
Neither with 1.3.5 nor with 1.4-dev, my MSN contacts can see what I am listening too.
Using Windows Live Messenger 8.5.1302.
Does this support Adium on the Mac?
happy to hear that! thanks :)
Hi there!
I don't think anyone has mentioned it, so here's another suggestion: why not post to gmail chat?
Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hi!
I was wondering if you can write to txt the following data:
Artist - Album - Song [Duration/Bitrate]
In the above order & formatting.
Thanks!
Hi!
Please consider adding support for Laconica and identi.ca. identi.ca, at http://identi.ca/, is like Twitter, but much more in line with Songbird because it's Free software/Open Source. You could say identi.ca is to Twitter what Songbird is to iTunes.
identi.ca has a Twitter compatible API. That means that all you have to do is to change the URL of the Twitter API to the identi.ca API URL, and all your existing code for Twitter will work with identi.ca! You can read more about that here: http://laconi.ca/trac/wiki/TwitterCompatibleAPI For inspiration you can find a list of clients and services that works with identi.ca (and some of which can post to Twitter and identi.ca simultaneously) at http://laconi.ca/trac/wiki/Apps. LiveTweeter will of course be added to this list if you decide to support identi.ca.
Laconica, at http://laconi.ca/, is the code that identi.ca runs, and anyone can install it on their own server, like Leo Laporte's very popular podcasting network TWiT has done with http://army.twit.tv/. The only thing you need to do to add support for any installation of Laconica, instead of just identi.ca, is to let the user herself tell LiveTweeter the URL of the API. For an example just look at how http://twitterfeed.com does it.
is ther any chance to supoprt miranda IM and skype?
PLEASE DUDE,
PLEASE SUPPORT ICQ!!!!!!!
This thing is awesome but icq would be more awsome :)
and jollyb:
LastFm supports Skype so Songbird + Last.FM + Skype = Win
working perfectly man :)
thanks a lot
hi...can u make it work with Google Talk. Is it possible?
Just a question, but doesn't all twitter messages go through your webserver, with unencryted password and all? (http://geekshadow.com/songbird/twitter.php found in chrome/content/LiveTweeter.js)
Feels a tat unsafe, if you ask me.
On another note, I made a simple snippet to display now playing in mIRC:
http://pastebin.satf.se/246
just type /songbird in the channel you want to show it in.
Also, it would be neat to have a bit more information to be posted to the text-file, like track length, track position, bitrate, etc, and maybe a unicode character to separate these things, for easier matching.
I finally got the Songbird + LiveTweeter + Pidgin on Linux (x86_64) combo working.
Step 1: For Fedora/Centos/Red Hat install pidgin-devel, autoconf and xmms-devel using your distros package manager. The names may be slightly different for Ubuntu/Debian users
Step 2: Download currenttrack untar/zip it and compile with ./configure && make && make install
Step 3: In Pidgin go to Tools > Plugins and enable Current Track. Hit the "Configure Plugin" button and change the first drop down to "From a file". Create a text file somewhere safe in your home dir and point this dialog at it.
Step 4: Install LiveTweeter from addons.songbirdnest.com After restarting Songbird go to Tools > Options > LiveTweeter. Configure Twitter if you like, go to the "Messenger" tab, enable "Activate Text File" and point the dialog to the same location you created in Step 3
Step 5: Save all settings, restart Songbird and Pidgin one more time, enjoy!
Thanks for the great plugin!
Google Talk support would be awesome!
Great add-on, but Unicode and extended character support would be awesome. I'm using WLM 8.5 in Vista 64. Keep it up!
nice :D
It's really great, but I'd like to see Digsby and AIM support.
Ok, I was just wondering if something like this could be build for Identi.ca as well?
thanks, these add-ons make songbird worth using... at least until more features are added. Songbird has a lot of missing features so thankyou very much for adding these ones.
special characters like apostrophe and ampersand ( ' & ) seem to concatenate the feed.
the ampersand still seems to concatenate it with the experimental version.
I Know this has been said A Few Times But Just To Help Drive the Point. Digsby Support Should Be Next!
my apologies if i double posted.
First of all I'd like to say thank you for this add-on, really love it.
But I've got a problem with Russian letters, when I listen to Russian songs the letters came out as random characters. I tried the experimental version you posted above and now all the characters are replaced with question marks. Not that big of a problem but a bit annoying still. Would be great if you had some time to fix it.
Cheers :)
Oh wait, now it just shows the previous, non-Russian song name while the Russian one is playing...
Just a tip for audiotwit.com users. After following @listensto at twitter go to the Tools -> Options -> LiveTweeter, check the "Post for each song" and add @listensto (and a space after) to the "Message before" text area.
Works well with Live what I use! ;)
I have the LiveTweeter-1.3.8-dev.xpi version installed, is it possible to let LiveTweeter write more than just Artist and Title into the text file? If not, it would be great if you made it possible in future versions! :)
Cyrillic support please :)
Title in Japanese is not shown well like following,
> listening to ... Lia - %u6642%u3092%u523B%u3080%u5504
Any chance you're gonna update and repost 1.4-dev for Songbird 1.1? The 1.3 versions don't support my Japanese titles.
Also, I have a reason to believe the updated 1.3.7 plugin with the new Songbird corrupts my Live Messenger on a regular basis. I have to delete the Contact file to login and the problem seems to disappear complete once I fix it and NOT load the plugin. Otherwise it eventually gets corrupted and disconnects (and I can't reconnect again).
great work well done works fabolouse
well.. actually I try to twit my song... and nothing.. I wont twit my song.. any idea?
My user and password are fine
any chance of that digsby support you and deOmaga were talking about? i'm switching from pidgin to digsby. thanks.
Try to tweet a song, doesn't work. Work with Vista. Already tested?
congrats! the extension works very fine, but one thing doesn't work to me:
The display of "title - artist" in wlm only shows it as "title - artist" even when i have selected "artist - title" mode
sorry i forget some info:
wlm 9 14.0.8064.206
Songbird 1.1
LiveTweeter 1.3.7.1
Please Add Support for Asian Characters like japanese for WLM :S
Please add support for Digbsy!
That's a great add-on .. congrats! I like it, even I just use it to display the played song in MSN though.
Just one small thing: The icon in the status bar (beside the lastfm icon) is a bit bright and it seems to have a different tool tip. So it looks a bit untidy with several feathers (e.g. NABS).
When I want to share what I'm listening to on Windows Live Messenger, the song information shows for about one second, then it disappears. Any idea, anyone?
I don't know what you need to know, but I've got XP and the latest updates on Songbird, Live Messenger and Windows Media Player.
14.0.8064.0206
Hi,
Is there a way to make this addon work for Digsby or Trillian?
Thanks
please make it compatible with Emesene
Plus d'infos : Avec Emesene, il y a un plug-in "Musique Courante"
Adresse du dev : luismarianoguerra[at]gmail[dat]com
Sinon, site d'Emesene : http://emesene.org
@+! J'ai vraiment hâte de le voir compatible avec mon client de messagerie préféré ;)
I can't seem to find the download link anywhere. My sole reason for wanting your extension is to correct the way the playing song shows in messenger from Artist - Title to Title - Artist which is should be by default, but last.fm changes this at present.
I've understood I need your extension version 1.2, but there is no download link?
Please explain.
hi, it works great with windows+ live messenger, but i cant manage it to work with osx+adium, any ideas on how can i do it?
This is a GREAT application and probably my favorite along with Media Flow. I was hoping I would have a way to have it show up on MSN but adding a Twitter function was just a bonus. Thanks for this! Easy set-up and works great.
It's possible to use livetweeter for msn mac? I can't match them :(
I installed it, but I don't understand why it messes up with some title (it shows random characters)
I checked the files metadata and they seem ok :(
no, on Windows Live Messenger 2009... some songs are working fine, but others don't (even songs from the same album at times) :S
I'll have to vote for issue 9, as in, the ability to customize the output strings! I do love having track number visible.
Track and Artist urls would be pretty cool (in Twitter posting anyway); ie. urls to artist and title pages on Last.fm.
@Larro I agree, a way to automatically insert links from last.fm, wikipedia etc would be great. Also, can we get support for other microblogging clients, like identi.ca/laconi.ca?
Please can you also so it work with Songbird 1.2 beta 2?
I've got this addon working with version 1.2.0 of Songbird. This is what I did:
1) Download the latest version of the addon (1.3.8) from the version history link on this page. (The link is in the panel Details at the top of this page).
2) Extract the addon's file content using Winzip or Winrar (or whatever program you have that can handle ZIP files) to a folder.
3) Open the file 'install.rdf' and change the line that says
em:maxVersion="1.2.0a" to em:maxVersion="1.2.0"
*This line is at the end of the file.
**notice I only deleted the letter 'a' after the version string 1.2.0
4) Repack all the files using Winzip or Winrar and install the addon with Songbird.
* the package file must be in ZIP format. Don't use Winrar's default RAR format. If you're using Winrar, choose the ZIP format before creating the archive.
BTW, this is exactly what I did to make the LyricMaster addon work with Songbird 1.2.0
Peace
Another request for Digsby support here!
please add support for asean characters like japanese chinese korean.. and special characters thx!
# GeekShadow, support for "aMSN" would it be possible?
I don't like other messengers and "aMSN" is a very good one. I wouldn't like to change it.
Thank you.
Just moved to Digsby. nthing a request for support!
Works fine under Ubuntu Jaunty except that some characters are "stripped".Example :
I am listening to \\o/ Fun Lovin\' Criminals - Love Unlimited
Any clue?
digsby support would be greatly appreciated, other than that this is really cool add-on keep up the really good work.
So, is there an explanation on how to use the text file for IRC use?
I have a problem. While using it with Windows Live Messenger under Vista SP2 only shows random and strange characters like ҝȍӝڝٽڍݍȍЭٝȍս... Does anyone knows what can I do to solve it?
@aldoaxel
I get the same problem. My guess is that it's to do with the format of the text, MSN expecting unicode and the addon sending ascii or something.
"* Skype Users :
You will first need to activate Skype support in LiveTweeter preferences and to allow access to LiveTweeter when this window prompt."
I can only edit Twitter and MSN options in the LiveTweeter preferences. No Skype, don't see any single button for it. ):
I've got a suggestion, how about Facebook status updates? That'd be awesome. :)
The API is there already on Facebook's side so it's just hooking it.
While I'm glad to have this functionality in Songbird it is quite lacking in some areas, particularly in the Now Listening area for Pidgin. This plugin only passes track name and artist name, not album, duration, etc, and it also doesn't have a known player name, so the %r argument in pidgin-musictracker returns "Unknown."
Furthermore I'd like to see Plurk and Facebook support, as well as, in my wildest dreams, sneezing via Ping.fm. But those are mostly fripperies compared to full-fledged pidgin-musictracker integration.
well....i use Digsby...can LiveTweeter support it? THX soooooooooooooooooo much!
Thanks, it really works
Hey, not the biggest problem, but, when in Windows Live Messenger, the artist appears before the song title. Eg, Aerosmith - Walk This Way rather than the usual, Walk This Way - Aerosmith.
Help with Skype- I click the activate skype checkbox and nothing happens
Never mind, I saw the dialog, and accepted, now what do I do?
Thanks. For Me It Works On WLM, But It Shows The Artist First Instead Of The Song Name
Hi, I use Windows 7 Final Release an the latest version of WLM.
This plugin appears to work well, but if I switch Songbird to Mini Player it stops to work. If I switch back to Main Player, it still does not work. To work again I need to double click any music to start playing again.
Hey GeekShadow,
Please, consider the support for amsn users.
Great addon!!! you made my day!!!
But, For IRC announce, there could be more options to announce to text file.
Album
Bitrate
Filtetype
Genre
If there is option to add these also, It would be looot more useful. Thanks. :)
Request... Ping.fm support ^_^
Actually, a Ping.fm support will add support to a wide range of micro-blogging services requested above and more :D
Hey, I just updated to Windows 7. Unfortunately the Skype support doesn't work there anymore...
On every play the Windows crash message "now-playing-x-skype doesn't work anymore" appears. Any ideas for a workaround?
@Koze I have the same problems here, Win7 HP X64... hope there will be a fix soon, because skype support was the only reason for me to install it . . . . .
Yes, I forgot to mention, I'm also using 64 bit Windows and I'm also using LiveTweeter solely to update the Skype-Status...
Just tested it on XP x32 SP3, and it did not work either. Maybe its because of the new Skype Version (4.1.0.179 on XP and Win7) and not the running system.....
I'd want to request a prefix preference for skype, like "NP: artist - track".
Does it work for Skype for Linux?
This hasn't worked with Pidgin/MusicTracker for at least a week for me. I tried using CurrentTrack with the text file, but that was really wonky. I'm not sure if it's an issue with LiveTweeter or MusicTracker, but is there any way I can find out? For example. test if the messenger update is actually being broadcast?
Hi GeekShadow!
I just downloaded Songbird 1.2.0, and my question is; why i cant see songs im playing in my personal message? I have a aMSN 0.98.1.
It would be cool if you could solve my proplem and tell me what to do :)
Can you add a option that allows you to also show what album the song is from?
Hi,
Please Geekshadow, turn it available on aMSN 0.98.1. I'm using 1.4 release rigth now.
Hello GeekShadow,
I have wrote a new Version for now playing skype, this runing under Win7 x64.
How can I contact you?
mail is out to you
For some reason I can't use that extenstion. I'm trying to install it but when I press "Restart Songbird" nothing happens. Help please?
Hi. I was browsing the code. I am not very familiar with firefox's extensions api, or with java script, but I found that to update skype's data you call a program named now-playing-x-live-messenger.exe .
To update skype on linux, there is the skype4py api (for python) which works alright.
Was wondering if it could be used somehow. If the executable filename could be overwritten and how should it behave? and how is it executed?
sorry, was suposed to be now-playing-x-skype.exe
Hi.
Here is a little something I glued together
Problem is it is not working for non-ascii characters in my music library.
I substituted now-playing-x-skype.exe for a bash script with this:
#!/bin/bash
#Code based from amarok 2's SkypeNowPlaying
echo $*>/tmp/output1
python - "Songbird playing $*" >/tmp/output2 <<eof> + this.toCharRefs(artist));
skype is updated with a string like:
\u0023\u0043\u21e3
etc
Any clue what may be going on here?
Don't know whatever happened to the script. Sorry.
here it is again
#!/bin/bash
#Code based from amarok 2's SkypeNowPlaying
echo $*>/tmp/putput1
python - "Songbird playing $*" >/tmp/output2 <<eof>)
try:
skype = Skype4Py.Skype()
if skype.Client.IsRunning:
skype.Attach()
skype.CurrentUserProfile.MoodText = msg

Sorry again. It seems my previous message was sent incomplete.
was meant to say
When I call the script like this:
this.sendToImClient("now-playing-x-skype.exe", title + " - " + artist);
skype is not updated, and my output files have mangled text, as if the strings were missinterpreted as other charset (or something)
When I execute it like :
this.sendToImClient("now-playing-x-skype.exe", this.toCharRefs(artist) + " - " + this.toCharRefs(title));
Skype is updated with a string like this:
\u0023\u0043\u21e3
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
just an addendum.
output to a file works alright. will try to check whats going on.
sorry for so many messages.
After some help from the #python channel from freenode, and a guy nicknamed theatrus there, found out that for python,
msg=msg.decode('unicode_escape')
did the trick
Just to let you all know, in the end:
#!/bin/bash
#Code based from amarok 2's SkypeNowPlaying
python - "Songbird playing $*" <<eof> + this.toCharRefs(title));
Doesn't look like this has been mentioned before but, passwords are exposed through the about:config page when using this plugin. Major security issue.
Hi maybe you can although think about a support for the instant massaging program aMSN (www.amsn-project.net)
this would be great

Searching for real tweets about Songbird (not about what people are listening with Songbird), I just have noticed that it is almost impossible to do, as 99% of the #Songbird tagged tweets are NowPlaying ones, with a great number coming from LiveTweeter.
So, do you think there could be a way to avoid that (propose another tag, eliminate #Songbird tags explicitly, add a warning... anything)?
Merci :)
Hum, using this search in twitter helps a lot already ;) : #songbird -source:livetweeter -nowplaying
Hey ppl. I just want to recomend the MPRIS plugin for anyone using Pidgin, as MusicTracker supports MPRIS. Works grally great.
...anyways, hope this helps somebody
oh yeah.. the link: http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addon/1626 :D
Alright, So I clicked 'download' then clicked the 'install' button... Songbird asks me to restart... it restarts... But LiveTweeter is not in my addons list... I've tried it several times today and yesterday.
I'm using Songbird 1.4.3, Build 1438 and on Windows XP sp3
