The JumpTo Dialog as a full Songbird Feather
Description
This Feathers creates a new layout, sibling to the Mini and Main layouts, compatible with Rubberducky. If you are using the Rubberducky Feathers, you should see this as an option in the View menu.
Version 0.0.1 – This Feather specifies a layout that hosts the JumpTo dialog in an iframe element and slaps the faceplate and player controls on top. It’s meant to be a “medium” sized player for people who don’t want to deal with the sidebar and browser but still want viewable access to all of their media. It also is a fairly decent example of how to create your own custom Songbird layouts.
Version 0.0.2 – Removed the black frame line from around the outside of the contained dialog.
Version 0.0.3 – Lone fixed it so it won’t crash on Windows, anymore. Hooray!
Version 0.0.4 – Compatible up to Songbird version 0.6

This feather does work. It will add a “jumpto feather” to Rubberducky, not add a wholly new one… I was lost for some time as well when I first installed it :-)
For feather developers this is a cool showoff of possibilities with xul… Maybe some people will actually use it as well.

It doesn’t work with WinXP and Songbird 0.4 (rubberducky feather). When I click on “JumpTo Feather” in the view menu, it closes Songbird.

It doesn’t work with WinXP and Songbird 0.4 (rubberducky feather). When I click on “JumpTo Feather†in the view menu, it closes Songbird. This occurred with view menu, and all feathers menu. Thanks if you can fix.

I’m using Vista, Songbird 0.4, and Rubberducky, and almost every time I try View->JumpTo, Songbird crashes. I really like the look of the feather and would love it if someone could get this stabilized.

Got updated just in time for me. I love this feather! Almost all of the time when I’m listening to music I just search for a song and play it, so this is perfect.
Bit of a bug, I can resize the width horizontally enough for the right side of the skin to disappear, as in the close button gets cut off and I can't resize on the right side.

What name does it have when you search for it in View > All feathers, because I can’t make it work.

It’s not in View->All Feathers.
You have to switch to Rubberducky, then it’s one of the menuitem selections ABOVE the “All Feathers” item. Directly in the “View” menu and not in a submenu…
I’ll add another screenshot with the “View” menu on the mac—you can see the “Jumpto Feathers” and “h0t tac0z” items when my 2 feathers are installed.

Well, i will do a suggestion on getsatisfaction to do a upgrade to this feature.
And more, i will do a suggestion to songbird able to "docking to left" and "docking to right"
Like ICQ 6.5 .
With this feature "docking"We can see the music player in the display and use my Firefox in the same time or programing my favority C++ compiler... :)
